Rock Creek Valley Conservation Plan and Priorities

The Rock Creek Valley Conservation Plan and Priorities is the first detailed look at the many elements that make up this beautiful, rural forested valley in South King County, Washington. Thoughtfully focusing scarce conservation resources and efforts in the most critical areas will best preserve the valley’s overall character, its forests, wildlife, water and other treasured natural resources. The Rock Creek Valley Conservation Plan and Priorities provides a voice for the community preferences, priorities and vision. By including input from community residents, recreational users, business owners and local, county, Washington state government, and the National Park Service, the Friends of Rock Creek Valley have created long-term workable strategies to ensure future generations can live, work and play in a beautiful and healthy Rock Creek Valley.
